The ONE Enterprise's Unstoppable Growth: Q2/2023 Revenue Soars to THB 1,607mn, a +13.4% Surge, Cementing Leadership in Content Creation and Integrated Lifestyle Entertainment
The ONE Enterprise Public Company Limited (“the Company” or “ONEE”), the leading content creator and fully integrated lifestyle entertainment has reported its Q2/23 performance with a topline of 1,607.8 million Baht. This marks a growth of 13.4% compared to the previous quarter and 4.9% from the same quarter of the previous year. This success is attributed to the outstanding performance of the Concert & Event business and Artist Management which showed exceptional growth in this quarter. The Company posted the 2Q/23’s net profit of THB 121.0mn, a 134.0% growth QoQ.
The Company positions itself as a comprehensive Lifestyle Entertainment business, strategically focusing on content as the prime driver for generating revenue across various platforms including TV, Online, Copyright & Licensing, and Production Services. In addition, the Company has a plan for the Idol Marketing business which is to nurture emerging artists and enhance their global presence. ONEE’s Idol Marketing ecosystem extends beyond Showbiz and Events management, we focus on establishing a deeper bond with the fandom (Fan-Kingdom). With this well-structured business model, which are the contents, the idols and the showbiz, the Company is confident in forging connections between ourselves, partners, and the consumers in both domestic and international markets, fostering revenue growth across all channels.
In the second quarter, the Company perceives significant signs of recovery, mirroring those observed in both the first quarter and the same quarter of the previous year. A pivotal driving force for the future lies in extending the reputation of artists from already aired content. Notably, revenue from Concert & Event Management grew by 32.6% QoQ and 707.2% YoY, while revenue from Artist Management increased by 65.8% YoY. Revenue from TV Advertising & Airtime continues to be the major contributor, accounting for approximately 46% of the Company's total revenue. In 2Q/23, prominent television dramas such as "Love Hurt" and "A Wildflower in the City" garnered exceptional ratings, contributing to the revenue growth of this segment. Furthermore, the Company's conventional media, including Radio, also experienced impressive revenue growth of more than 39.6% QoQ and 34.8% YoY, surpassing the industries still grappling with negative trends.
In the latter half of 2023, The Company strategically curates fresh content for teenagers, slated for the "Saturday Night Fin-ver!!" slot on the one31 channel. This initiative resonates with the "In Trend" and "New Gen" demographics, venturing into the dynamic realm of "Idol Marketing." The aim is to uplift current artists and introduce new talents, cultivating dedicated fan bases. Upcoming shows include "Laws of Attraction," "Love in Translation," and the mega project "Across The Sky," directed by Khun Boy - Takonkiet Viravan.
Focusing on the drama content in H2/23, The Company is poised to unveil a remarkable mega project in collaboration with SBS Contents Hub, a prominent radio and television station based in South Korea. This enthralling drama series, titled "VIP Hidden Love" stars the eminent duo of "Pong - Nawat" and "Pooklook - Fonthip". Beyond its broadcast on the one31 channel, the series graces screens across China and other global regions. Additionally, a lineup of blockbuster dramas awaits audiences, with productions under the Company's umbrella scheduled for release on various channels. These include captivating titles like "Panomnaka", "Bu-Nga Saree", "Life Part 2", an intense drama "Thong Prakai Sad", "One Night Stand - Life Changer", and the first boy-love drama from CHANGE2561, "PIT BABE The Series". There are also series such as "Enigma - Man-Magic-Myst", “The Jungle - Lover-Hunter-Hideaway” from GMM TV, for example.
